    2024 Board Installation Ceremony   Dallas, TX – 03/01/2024 – The Greater Dallas Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (GDHCC) is thrilled to announce the resounding success of its Board Installation Ceremony, held on Thursday, February 29th, at the Flag Room at Dallas City Hall. The evening was marked by a spirit of tradition and celebration, bringing together a diverse community of entrepreneurs, partners, allies, members, former Board members, and sponsors. Guided by the charismatic Univision 23's Anchor Miguelangel Pinero as Master of Ceremony, the event unfolded with an energetic and uplifting atmosphere. Opening the proceedings, Chamber’s President and CEO, Rick Ortiz, extended heartfelt gratitude to the community, sponsors, and board members, past and present. Ortiz paid tribute to the remarkable efforts of past chairs and warmly welcomed the incoming members of the 2024 Board of Directors. A pivotal moment of the evening was the unveiling of Chamber’s 85th Anniversary logo by GDHCC Board Chair Olga Lopez. This moment signaled the launch of the organization's 85th Anniversary signifying 85 years of excellence. Dr. Stephanie Elizalde, Dallas ISD Superintendent, was introduced as the Honorary Chair for the special 85th Anniversary year-long celebration, adding prestige to the occasion. GDHCC Board Chair Olga Lopez delivered a poignant and inspiring speech, leaving a lasting impression on all attendees. She emphasized: “Looking ahead, our vision is clear, and our mission remains unwavering - to empower Hispanic businesses, foster innovation, and create a thriving economic landscape. Let us all honor our past as we focus on strengthening the present and forming the future.
