Channel 2 News anchor Owen Conflenti interviewed me about my Houston Interactive Accident Map (http://attorneyguss.com/houston-texas-interactive-accident-map/), an interactive map of accident "hot spots" in the Houston area designed to help decrease the number of car accidents in our city. In January of 2013 I was interviewed on KPRC Channel 2 news about one of my projects to help make Houston a safer place to drive. Channel 2 News anchor Owen Conflenti interviewed me about my Houston Interactive Accident Map (http://attorneyguss.com/houston-texas-interactive-accident-map/), an interactive map of accident "hot spots" in the Houston area designed to help decrease the number of car accidents in our city. After the interview, Owen expressed surprise that a personal injury lawyer was working to LOWER the number of accidents in the city. I told him I'd rather live in a safer city and have less to do!

See projectI've put together an interactive map of all traffic accidents in the Houston metro area from 2007 through 2011. The map is designed, as you zoom in and out, to show "hot spots" of accident activity throughout the Houston area. The data can be sorted by year as well as by accident severity. You can click on individual accidents to obtain valuable details, including the suspected cause of the accident, when noted. You can even click to see a street view of where the accident occurred! I've put together an interactive map of all traffic accidents in the Houston metro area from 2007 through 2011. The map is designed, as you zoom in and out, to show "hot spots" of accident activity throughout the Houston area. The data can be sorted by year as well as by accident severity. You can click on individual accidents to obtain valuable details, including the suspected cause of the accident, when noted. You can even click to see a street view of where the accident occurred! I'm very proud of this ongoing project, and I hope to start a dialog in the Houston community that may lead to safer streets and fewer accidents.
